At Terra Solutions, we currently provide local delivery for live feeder products and selected Terra products within our operating area.

Because many of our products are live, perishable, or sensitive to environmental conditions, special delivery arrangements apply.

1. Delivery Area

We currently offer local delivery within selected areas including Wakefield, Ossett, Leeds, and surrounding locations.

Delivery availability may vary depending on postcode and route planning.

If your postcode falls outside our delivery radius, we may contact you to discuss alternative arrangements or cancel and refund your order where necessary.

2. Minimum Order & Delivery Fees

To maintain efficient local delivery routes and product quality, the following applies:

  • Minimum order value: £20

  • Local delivery fee: £3

  • Free delivery on orders over £50

Delivery fees and thresholds may vary for locations outside our standard local delivery area.

3. Delivery Scheduling

Delivery windows are selected at checkout or confirmed directly after purchase.

We aim to deliver orders within agreed delivery windows wherever possible.

Please note that estimated delivery times may occasionally change due to traffic, weather, operational requirements, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where delays occur, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate updates.

4. Live Feed Delivery Conditions

Live feeder insects are time-sensitive living commodities.

Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to accept delivery during the agreed delivery window.

Our driver will wait for up to 20 minutes from arrival.

If nobody is available to accept the delivery within this period:

  • the delivery may be considered unsuccessful,

  • redelivery may incur an additional charge,

  • refund eligibility may be limited due to the perishable nature of live products.

5. Delivery Confirmation

Orders are considered successfully delivered once handed to the customer or accepted at the delivery address.

Customers should inspect live feed upon arrival.

If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery and provide photographs and order details for review.

6. Incorrect Address Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

Additional charges may apply if delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address details, missing information, or inability to access the property.

7. Delivery Conditions Beyond Our Control

Terra Solutions cannot guarantee delivery timing where delays arise due to severe weather, road closures, vehicle issues, public events, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We will always aim to communicate delays and provide reasonable updates.

8. Future Shipping Services

At present, Terra Solutions primarily operates local delivery services.

Where courier shipping becomes available for selected products, updated delivery information will be published on this page.

9. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Shipping Policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
